When you think of pharmacies in Nyack, Koblin's Pharmacy always comes to mind. Our pharmacy, which opened in the late 1800’s, was originally owned by the Blauvelt family. It was purchased in 1934 and the name was changed to Koblin's Pharmacy. David Koblin operated the pharmacy until 1971 when Jerry Koblin succeeded him.
In 70+ years, many things have changed and the profession of pharmacy is no exception. Keeping up with the technology and new products being released almost daily keeps our staff busy. One thing that has not changed at Koblin's is that we still provide great service to our patients.
Service is still the key for any community pharmacy. We still offer free local delivery, store charge accounts, prescription compounding, and short wait times for prescriptions. We obtain hard-to-find items for our customers, and in many cases, can get them within one or two business days.
Today, we are an A-Z Pharmacy. We now carry Milk, Eggs, Bread and Frozen foods as well as many household items. Some of our other departments include Home Health Care, Homeopathic remedies, Rental of Medela Breast Pumps, Vitamins, Underwear, School and Office Supplies, Greeting Cards, Salon Hair Products and Small Appliances.
We offer a large assortment of Candy, Snacks & Ice Cream, Magazines, Books & Newspapers. We also provide a Digital Photo Machine, Money Orders, Fax, Lotto, UPS Delivery service and even Balloons for your special occasions.
